17. Mushroom soup with croutons

1 kg mushrooms (different types), 2 onions, 5 garlic cloves, salt, pepper, flour, 200 g ripe tomatoes, slices of toasted bread

Finely chop the onion and the garlic and sauté in olive oil. Add the mushrooms, finely chopped. When all well browned, add a few tablespoon of flour and water. Peel the tomatoes, chop them and mix in with the mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve with croutons.
